Jawahar Point is a place or a spot on the Moon. It was named to remember the place where India's first Lunar Mission and its probe Chandrayaan-1 had crashed, as it was designed to do.The Moon Impact Probe (MIP) crash-landed on the lunar surface on 14 November 2008 near the Shackleton crater.
